This privacy policy explains the information Oakworth Village collects through its email signup and contact routes. It also explains how newsletter records are managed and how you can ask to access or remove your information.
Email signup
When an email signup form is presented, it invites you to “Leave your email for future Oakworth Village updates.” The form asks for your email address and your explicit agreement to: “I agree to receive email updates from Oakworth Village.”
The signup process stores your email address, a hash used to check for duplicate entries, the signup time, the source page path without its query string or fragment, the consent wording you accepted, and the collection status. These details are stored in the site’s WordPress database.
This collection is enabled for future updates. Email delivery, confirmation and unsubscribe features require separate configuration, so a signup form does not indicate a particular sending schedule or an active mailing service.
Spam prevention
The signup system creates temporary anti-spam rate records using hashed network identifiers. These temporary records are subject to periodic cleanup.
Contact messages
If you contact Oakworth Village, your message includes the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, the text of your message and any attachments you send.
Accessing or removing your records
Authorized site administrators can view, export and remove email signup records. These records also work with WordPress personal-data export and erasure tools. Newsletter records remain in the database until they are removed or an erasure request is processed.
To request access to or removal of a newsletter record, email contact@oakworthvillage.com and identify the email address used to sign up. Providing that address helps locate the correct record.
Your choices
Providing an email address through the signup form is optional. You may choose not to submit the form, and you may later request access to or removal of the associated newsletter record using the contact address above.

Oakworth Village may link to other websites. Those sites maintain their own privacy information and practices, which you should review when visiting them.
